Does a mural in a child's room change their perception of space and mood?

So I’ve been thinking about redecorating my kid’s bedroom, and last weekend I saw a friend’s little one’s room with a big mural of animals and soft clouds. It honestly made the whole room feel brighter and more spacious, and the kid seemed way more excited to play there. That got me wondering — can murals really change how a child experiences a room and even affect their mood? I’m curious if anyone has tried putting a mural in a small bedroom and noticed a real difference in how their kids feel or play.

I actually went through this last year with my daughter’s nursery, and paying attention to color harmony really helped make a big impact. I checked their examples on Feelflow and it was amazing to see how different tones and soft transitions could create a calm yet cheerful atmosphere. We chose gentle pastel murals with playful shapes, and I noticed my daughter spending more time in her room, feeling happy and focused while playing or reading. So yeah, a well-thought-out mural can really influence both space perception and mood, especially when you combine the right colors and design.
