Results and expectations
People experience Cognomovement differently. While many attendees report meaningful shifts, results vary based on individual factors. We do not guarantee any specific outcome. Any testimonials or examples are shared for inspiration and are not a promise that you will experience the same results.
Not medical or psychological treatment
Cognomovement and CognoConscious are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. This event does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or professional counseling. If you are under the care of a licensed provider, we recommend you stay under their care and maintain any prescribed treatment plan unless your provider advises otherwise.
Important mental health + altered states disclaimer
CognoConscious can be intense. The practices may involve movement, guided experiences, strong emotions, physical sensations, and changes in awareness. Some people may experience altered states of consciousness. Please read this section carefully.
Not appropriate for psychosis
Individuals currently experiencing psychosis, or with a diagnosis of clinical psychosis, may not attend CognoConscious. (Examples may include hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, or losing touch with reality.) We do not provide on-site medical or psychiatric staff to support severe mental health conditions.
If you have a mental health history
If you have a history of significant mental health concerns (including but not limited to severe dissociation, intense episodes of altered reality, or recent psychiatric hospitalization), we strongly recommend you consult your licensed mental health provider before attending. If your provider advises against participation, please do not attend.
Crisis and self-harm safety
If you are currently in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or believe you may harm yourself or others, please do not attend. Seek immediate help by calling emergency services. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Your responsibility during the event
By attending, you agree that you are responsible for your own well-being. You may step out, take breaks, opt out of any process, and ask for support from event staff at any time. You are responsible for communicating your limits and taking care of your hydration, rest, nutrition, and any medical needs.
Safety and removal policy
For the safety of all attendees, Cognomovement reserves the right to ask any participant to pause participation, step out, or leave the event if their behavior or condition is determined to be unsafe to themselves or others, disruptive to the group, or beyond the scope of what event staff can reasonably support.
Physical safety disclaimer
CognoConscious includes movement-based practices. If you have any medical condition that could be affected by movement, breath patterns, or emotional processing (including pregnancy, neurological conditions, cardiovascular concerns, or other significant health issues), please consult your healthcare provider before attending. Stop any practice that causes pain or feels unsafe for your body.
Practitioner and facilitator role
Cognomovement practitioners and event helpers are trained to facilitate Cognomovement processes. They are not licensed medical or mental health professionals unless explicitly stated. Their support is educational and complementary and should not be considered medical or psychological treatment.
